I was not able to interview a company but I was able to interview Lizzy. These are the questions I asked:
1) Have you seen more women upcycling than men?
Answer: Lizzy stated that out of the people that she has meet or talked to about upcycling, they have only been women. Looking at that she claimed that women most likely would upcycle more due to it being a little more creative, but she has no definite answer.
2) What problems did you encounter while upcycling?
Answer: Lizzy ran into the problems of space (due to the fact that she was making larger projects than most), finding the correct paint, and finding the needed materials.
3) Have you seen any reactions of other countries to upcycling?
Answer: Lizzy stated that she thinks, but not positive, that the poorer countries may not like upcycling, or other countries may not think that upcycling is as nice as the United States do.
4) What is your motivation to upcylce?
Answer: Lizzy's motivation was that it was fun, creative, and that she was able to make new things out of old ones.
5) Do you still upcycle?
Answer: Lizzy does still upcycle.
6) What makes you want to still upcycle?
